Project Description

English translation:

Wilman is passionate about life, freedom is his greatest wealth and happiness his greatest aim. He understands that we are here to “have fun” in the game of life, have fun learning, teaching, helping and letting others help us.

Going after his dream led him to undertake a project in the field “Ecoaldea Allyn Kawsay” that seeks to revalue coexistence in harmony with natural environments and the ways of life that inhabit it, the sense of living in community.

Wilman’s project seeks to provide a new, more sustainable and dignified alternative based on healthy agricultural practices that respect Pachamama, promoting family entrepreneurship aimed at strengthening family units and invigorating the different forms of communal economy by promoting Ayni la Minka (reciprocity) traditional uses and customs of the Peruvian ayllus – the peasants of the community of Huayllabamba – Abancay – Peru. It seeks to recover wild Andean crops that are forgotten over time different varieties that can be cultivated and used in the family diet and incorporated into the local gastronomy.

What moves this human being from a consumerist life to a more minimalist life in the middle of the countryside is the interaction and freedom that can only be found in the countryside. Wilman is in love with the countryside “nature places us in our place” and the potential that exists in the people who inhabit the fields. In the fields lies the ability to feel and beat with the earth itself and understand ourselves as part of it.

ECOENERGIA participates in the environmental organization of the Apurímac region, which seeks to raise awareness among the people of the region, we want to contribute to building a more humane and more sensitive and empathetic society with our Pachamama, which protects, conserves and respects others taking care of the common good, the water the forest, the animals. Agronomist by profession, Wilman graduated in “Human Rights, Environment and Alternative Development in Extractive Contexts”, empirical bio-constructor and permaculture.
